AND speaking of exaggeration: my own rampaging zucchini (thanks, Phyllis!) is competing with Polar Bear pumpkins to see which plants can take over the garden, pull down the fence, and fill up the rest of the yard.  As Captain Haddock says, in the Tintin comics: &quot;Thunderin Typhoons!&quot;  Of course I love it that you quote Ellen Levine (&quot;What&#039;s against it?&quot;); she would have loved this column.]]></description>
